I always hate calling organic weed, well weed. It takes away the value of the tasty organics when compared to a “weed” so for the sake of the argument I will refer to this lovely plant as cannabis.

That being said the top benefits of organically grown cannabis, whether grown outside or in a tent vs hydroponic “weed” is tenfold.
Benefits of Organic Weed
- Taste – Flavor and taste are unaltered when you leave the chemicals out of the farming process. Whether they are sun-baked plants or LED grow lights producing your lovely flowers the main thing that happens when left organic so the terpenes in the plant have a natural balance that produces great flavor. These cannabis plants are much like the human body. If you mess with one characteristic an equal and opposite reaction will occur. These are called side effects.
- Potency – You want to get high? Do you want to know how to make the most potent cannabis plant? Statistically speaking organic will produce more potent plants. I always say, the flower that smells good to you will have the best reaction of alter consciousness that your body alone needs. It is much like the smell of food. Certain foods just smell better to an individual than others. It is the body’s way of saying, “That is what I need!”
- No Chemical Ingestion – This is a no-brainer. No chemicals mean you are not sucking bad things into your body. A simple thought but understated. Much like food, organic cannabis is designed to not harm you. The lack of chemicals and heavy metals will surely equal a happy body when smoked or eaten.
- Environmentally Friendly – Cannabis grown organically also produces an environmentally sound product. No contaminated groundwater supply or shady control over environmental factors such as pesticides.
There you have it. The basic reasons one should always smoke, eat, or vape organic cannabis.
Like any farmed product there is a direct science as well as the green thumb touch as well. A mixture of art and science makes the perfect crop. Too much of one and not enough of the other can result in undesired results. From my experience, I have always seen better yields, more flavor, and better potency with a resulting organic cannabis harvest. It really comes down to knowing exactly what the plant is supposed to do within its veg vs flowering phases and keeping it as natural as possible. Excluding chemicals that supposedly enhance the plant cause side effects in the other areas of the plant’s internal systems resulting in a lesser than plant.
