Our Advanced Platinum LED P600 review left us with a “best of” feeling after our harvesting with this LED grow light. After purchasing and setting up our grow tent complete with the easy to install Advanced Platinum P600, we had a feeling that this light would be an instant reviewer’s choice.

The Platinum LED P600 uses quality LED light chipsets made by Bridgelux and Cree with a coverage area of around 22.5 feet at 18 inches. We averaged the plants at about a square foot per plant, but see the potential for lighting much closer to the plant when starting out with your infant plants with the ability to raise them as they begin to sprout upwards. With the Advanced Platinum easy ability to raise and lowered with the provided hangers this should not be to difficult. We, however, decided to play it safe and keep the LED’s at the recommended specifications for an accurate review inside our grow tent.

According to Platinum LED’s grow light specifications, the max range is supposed to be at 3.75 by 6 feet. Keep in mind, that the growth of your plants will be better if you don’t spread the light out. Rather, concentrate your lighting at around a 4×2 area and your results will blossom. Using 2 to 3 of these P600 in a grow space of that size seemed to do the trick for our grow review of the Advanced Platinum Series P600 LED grow lights, but this might be overkill in certain situations. Full spectrum lighting is always better when you have more and not less lighting involved.

The lighting provides an even spread along with decent penetration throughout the grow tent. We did have to make some minor adjustments, but again, the ease of elevating the pulleys made this task simple in set up through the full maturity of our plants.

• When switching between intensities, keep a close eye on your plants as to not “shock” them.
• If “light shock” occurs raise your LED grow lights a couple of inches to avoid “burn”
