Vipraspectra makes an extraordinary light and the Viparspectra 450w pro reflector series model is no exception. We found that our Viparspectra 450w review turned up some positive results from seedling to harvest. We were impressed by the amount and quality of our plants when we finally finished.

Our Viparspectra 450w review is one that simply blows away similar LED grow lights in the same category. Made with 5-watt Bridgelux and Epiled LED Chipsets, it creates the perfect full-spectrum lighting plants adore. It is the equivalent of a 400-watt HPS light but with about half the energy consumption at 200 watts.

This article is designed to show you the unique benefits of the Viparspectra reflector series 450w led grow light if you are one that is considering a budget light that produces quality plants.

Today’s Viparspectra 450w LED review will go into depth about why you need this light. The Viparspectra 450w was designed for maximum power in a smaller led light. It is the smaller version of our Viparspectra 600w LED reflector series grow light, but with a big punch.

The most difficult part of growing weed indoors revolves around making sure your plant receives the right amount of light at the right times. With the compact size of the ViparSpectra LED grow lights at 450 watts, it makes for a great LED grow light for grow tents within smaller spaces. Super easy to use and set up, this has fast become one of our favorites for small indoor grows.

Viparspectra 450w LED Grow Light Review: Keeping the Temps Low

viparspectra led grow light reviewThis particular light rig has all the features that LED grow lights should have from full spectrum LED’s, lighting for each phase of plant growth to running at cool temperatures with self-cooling fans, and traditional heat sinks for dissipating warmth fast. This will surely lower the costs of an indoor grow by not having to add additional cooling methods that can get pricey.

The Viparspectra 450w covers an area roughly 30 inches by 30 inches depending on your distance from the plant itself. Your actual wattage will be at 200 watts due to the liquid diodes that need a lot less energy to run.

The output is also more stable with robust light wattage overall. Similar to the Viparspectra 600w led grow light, the plants love a stable spectrum and respond accordingly.

The Viparspectra 450W is an Affordable Grow Light

The price point on the Viparspectra 350watt reflector series wins at the end of the day. This LED grow light is also backed by a 3-year warranty that is a no-brainer. Viparspectra has long been a brand for pros and hobbyists alike. Because this grow light is easy to set up, its small profile and professional-grade lighting, the 450w LED has become a popular choice.

Growing With The Viparspectra

We used this light on a 2 plant grow and saw really viable responses from our seedlings from flower to cultivation. Loving the fact that these use a typical PC power cord and can be easily strung side by side to increase the sizes and yields of your grows.

Be sure to keep the LED pro series grow light at 24 inches above the plant or you can risk scorching them if too close. Although some have reported successful attempts at around 20 inches, this is with close scrutiny of the lighting overall, especially if you opt for the higher wattage these lights come in, for example, 1200 watt models at 19.2 inches will likely hurt your plant more than help it.

It has alternate veg and bloom switch which works great in unison when plants start to flower. It does kick up a bit more heat in this phase but really pushes the full spectrum capabilities with this light and plants seem to thrive and flower beautifully in these conditions.

This basic light is great for those just starting out and not to sure-footed when it comes to LED growing. The Viparspectra 300w LED covers just over 2 feet by 2 feet and reaches depths that your plant needs to thrive. The light output produces full-spectrum arrays of infrared lighting to high-end ultraviolet light.

Viparspectra 450 watt LED is a mini powerhouse. Here is why…

As you examine your plants under this light rig, remember that some varieties of ultraviolet light are non-visible to the naked eye and can damage your retinas if you are not careful. I would always recommend using eye protection for examining your plant’s growth whenever doing so.

With proper eye protection you can avoid turning your LED grow lights off everytime you need to tend to your plants. I always keep mine close to my grow tent for ease of access and somewhere highly visible to remind myself to always be safe.

The amount of electrical usage dwindles with this model, which is a huge plus when it comes to having your lights on for growing 24/7. In fact, I always go with 24 hours of light during the vegetating cycle and never 18. You can imagine the need to cut down on energy bills in this case and the LED is the way to go for this type of grow.

Another bonus is the coolness and stability of the temperatures at which this LED light runs. The Vipraspectra we reviewed was able to get pretty close to our plants without scorching them or burning them such as an incandescent bulb would naturally do from its overwhelming heat output. This tiny LED’s when stacked up consume about half the amount of wattage than its incandescent counterpart.

LED Light Intensity

Tiny 5 Watt LED lights sourced from reputable manufacturers to line up at 90 degrees to point perfectly at your plants for optimum efficiency. The PAR for these lights is the right intensity for growing indoors. Although not completely visible to the naked eye which conforms more to its lumen, you want to focus on PAR here as it is what the plant needs and not what you see.

We arranged the lamp at approximate 24 inches above the top of the plant’s branches which seemed to produce the best angle and light coverage for the plant itself. This allows for maximum flowering through less overcrowding and lets’ face it the flowers are a grower’s favorite part of planting.

If you need an LED grow light that produces a maximum yield, the Viparspectra pro series should be in consideration because of its advanced chipset and full-spectrum light.

The 3-year warranty that Vipraspectra offers on this 450 watt LED comes also with a thirty-day money-back guarantee, so if you don’t like it simply return it for a refund. It is not hard to understand the full benefits of this led grow light once you start growing with a Vipraspectra 450 watt LED grow lamp. We definitely enjoyed reviewing it as well as experiencing its final product.
